We are very proud to present you the unique Bucerius/WHU Master of Law and Business – Joachim Herz Program ("MLB Program"). With the MLB, two of Germany's leading private universities have combined their experience to offer for the first time a Program that is particularly designed to appeal to law or business graduates and professionals from around the world. The WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and Bucerius Law School are ideal partners for this undertaking. Founded by private initiatives, both are student-oriented and efficiently-administered institutions, with an emphasis on performance and a dynamic spirit. Thanks to their internationally and practice-oriented programs, as well as their substantial research activities, they attract superb students and enjoy an excellent reputation in the academic and professional world. Both schools are constantly ranked as best German schools in their respective fields.

Unlike institutions offering master's programs in which law students simply take some courses in a business school or vice-versa, WHU and Bucerius have designed the MLB such that coursework is specifically tailored for Program participants. Thus, each institution not only contributes its expertise to the curriculum; the curriculum itself revolves around the needs of the MLB students.

The intercultural experience that is vital in today's globalized world is central to the MLB Program. Bonding quickly in the challenging Program environment, participants with a business background assist the legally-trained students in understanding economic and management concepts, while legally-trained participants aid their business colleagues in grasping the intricacies of legal analysis.
