The MLB program takes place primarily on the campus of the Bucerius Law School, located within a park-like setting in the center of Hamburg, Germany. The beautiful campus, which successfully combines both traditional and modern architecture, is just minutes away from Hamburg's main commercial district, shopping areas, and the beautiful Inner and Outer Alster Lakes. Public transportation is steps away.

The main campus building, constructed in 1908, has been updated with the most modern technology available. A modern "auditorium maximum" was added in 2003. A new state-of-the art library that never closes, food court and coffee lounge were opened in August 2007. Bucerius Law School hosts conferences and events of international caliber.

Hamburg, a beautiful city with some two million inhabitants, combines a thriving port, strong media, publishing and other industries, with a vibrant nightlife and a wealth of cultural and nature activities. Hamburg's main stage for classical music productions as well as the city's opera are less than a five-minute walk from the campus. Numerous museums host major exhibitions of classic and contemporary art.

Participants also spend time – for example, two Live-in weeks and perhaps during the writing of the master's thesis, and for students events such as the Campus for Finance, the Private Equity Conference, or Euromasters on the WHU campus, located in Vallendar, Germany. WHU is situated in a 18th century castle; its 11th century vaulted cellar "Gewölbekeller" is a spectacular location for dinners and get-togethers. New buildings featuring the latest multi-media infrastructure were completed in 2008. Located on the Rhine River, Vallendar is close to the regional center of Koblenz, a lovely town where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. The Rhine River Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous for its beauty, vineyards and ancient castles. Nearby are Frankfurt, Germany's financial hub, as well as Cologne and Trier, which date to the days of the Roman Empire.

The study conditions at both schools are excellent. Apart from a very strong personal and administrative services support, students benefit from close contact with faculty members. Some 50 lecturers are available for the students and share their ideas and offer help if required. Students can also follow their personal rhythm of studying and researching: all buildings and the library are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
