Political Student Groups
In order to be actively politically involved at the Law School, four groups have been established - and more groups are possible at any times.
There are also groups who have dedicated themselves to social engagements.
Green Students Society (GHG)
The Green Students Society (Grüne Hochschulgruppe GHG) aims to emphasize political diversity within the Law School and connect the ideas of
cosmopolitanism and social liberalism with those of responsibility and
sustainability. We engage ourselves in (Law School related) political
topics, hold weekly meetings and would like to cordially invite everyone
interested to participate.

LHG
The aim of the Liberale Hochschulgruppe (LHG) is to hold general political discussions as well as to offer a regular type of platform. The LHG involves politically interested student linked by common liberal principles. The members meet about every other week. Discussion topics will be arranged for each case, into which two or three students will delve deeper, in order to organize more complex topic activities.

Jusos (Young Socialistic Group)
The Young Socialistic (liberal, left-wing according to German interpretation) Hochschule Group (Jusos, according to German abbreviation) at Bucerius engages itself in university and education topics, as well as general political issues. The Jusos organize events, for example, in which other groups from all over the spectrum can hold discussions. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Founded in 1951, the independent Christian Democratic Student Ring (RCDS) represents values-oriented politics that goes beyond the directionless pragmatism and dogmatic ideologies based on the Christian occidental idea of man. Meetings take place regularly.
