There is a wealth of extracurricular activities at Bucerius Law School which MLB students can join. There are various clubs and societies with a particular emphasis on sports and music. More information can be found here.

The MLB Program offers a number of activities particularly designed for our students at Bucerius Law School. These include excursions to interesting sites in Hamburg, lectures, film evenings and other events to enrich your time in Hamburg:

  • Harbor boat trip
  • Bus city tour
  • Visit to Hamburg theatres
  • Exhibitions at the Bucerius Art Forum (guided tours)
  • Political, cultural and other lectures
  • Cinema evenings, concerts at Bucerius
  • Sport events (Champion's Trophy, Euromasters, HSH Nordbank Run)
  • Fitness gym and sport groups
  • Evening activities, student parties
  • Bucerius ball
  • Stroll through the traditional Christmas market
  • Alumni activities and BBQ

During one week in fall and one week in spring or summer term some business courses take place on the WHU campus in Vallendar. Part of the study stay at WHU will be wonderful sightseeing trips in this beautiful area of Germany. You will have time to

  • Visit the beautiful Rhina area
  • Take a boat trip on the river Rhine
  • Stroll through the vineyards
  • Visit old castles
  • Participate in company visits and company presentations

Other Activities Offered

The MLB Team will regularly inform you about conferences, competitions at Bucerius Law School or WHU as well as at other institutions. You will be invited for company presentations at renowned German and international law firms, companies or institutions.

In December, students can also attend a one-week excursion to Brussels and visit EU institutions.

As a football nation, Germans will surprise you in summer 2010 with their enormous happiness throughout the World Cup!
