The MLB Program in its sixth year
Beginning with the Class of 2012, the MLB Program will incorporate significant changes. First, virtually all course offerings will be oriented toward one of two major topics: the founding and expansion of an enterprise, and the negotiation, performance, and resolution of disputes arising out of a purchase and sale agreement for goods shipped from Asia to Europe. Students will take courses relating to both topics. Second, a new, two-week “Capstone Course” will be added. This course, which will take place after the submission of the Master’s Thesis, will be structured such that knowledge from different aspects of Program work flow into the course, thereby reinforcing the knowledge that students have gained. Finally, after the Capstone Course, all students will participate in a two-week Service Project. The addition of the Service Project to the Program curriculum reflects our belief that future leaders must have not only an excellent academic background; they must also be ready to shoulder responsibility in the societies in which they live.
